Per noi CIAO non è mai stato soltanto un profumo. È quel momento in cui due persone si incontrano e qualcosa, inspiegabilmente, comincia. A Firenze lo abbiamo visto accadere davvero. Per tre giorni abbiamo incontrato persone, raccontato storie, ascoltato impressioni, stretto mani. E abbiamo detto CIAO. Un numero infinito di volte. CIAO a chi ci conosceva già. CIAO a chi ci ha scoperti per la prima volta. CIAO a chi si è fermato incuriosito. CIAO a chi ha provato la fragranza sulla pelle, ha sorriso… ed è rimasto con noi qualche minuto in più. E soprattutto, siete stati voi a dirlo insieme a noi. La tela che vedete nell’immagine di apertura è nata proprio così. Alla fine della fiera l’abbiamo guardata e abbiamo capito una cosa: quel quadro è diventato la nostra opera d’arte più bella. Perché non l’abbiamo creata soltanto noi. L’abbiamo creata insieme a voi. Centinaia di CIAO che si incontrano, si sovrappongono, si cercano e diventano un’unica grande opera. Ed è forse questa l’immagine più bella che porteremo con noi da Pitti. Perché CIAO è una parola semplice. Ma forse proprio per questo è così potente. Può essere l’inizio di un incontro. Può diventare un ricordo. Può racchiudere una promessa, una coincidenza, una persona che non dimenticheremo. Non conosce confini. E non ha bisogno di traduzioni. Poi c’è stata lei. CIAO sulla pelle. Ed è lì che è successo qualcosa di ancora più bello. C’è chi l’ha definita eterea. Chi avvolgente. Chi elegante. Chi meravigliosa. And above all, you said it together with us. The canvas you see in the opening image came to life exactly this way. Day after day, you filled it with signatures, words, thoughts, drawings and, above all, all of your CIAOs. Each one different. Each one personal. Each one carrying a story within it. At the end of the fair, we looked at it and realized one thing: that canvas had become our most beautiful work of art. Because we did not create it on our own. We created it together with you. Hundreds of CIAOs meeting, overlapping, seeking one another and becoming one single, extraordinary work of art. And perhaps this is the most beautiful image we will carry with us from Pitti. Because CIAO is a simple word. But perhaps that is exactly what makes it so powerful. It can be the beginning of an encounter. It can become a memory. It can hold a promise, a coincidence, a person we will never forget. It knows no borders. And it needs no translation. Then there was her. CIAO on the skin. And that is when something even more beautiful happened. Some described it as ethereal. Some as enveloping. Some as elegant. Some simply as wonderful. Some tried it and came back a few hours later just to smell it again. Some returned to tell us what it had left with them. And some decided not to wait and placed their order immediately. Seeing a fragrance born from one of our ideas step beyond our own story and begin to live on other people’s skin and in their emotions was, perhaps, the most beautiful gift of these days. And now, CIAO’s journey begins. We came back from Florence with news that makes us truly happy: the first stock of CIAO is already close to selling out.
