Coming to Florence, is a unique opportunity, the first in Italy, to enjoy Shakespeare's masterpiece Romeo and Juliet in a charming garden like the Corsini Gardens located in the heart of Florence, in Via il Prato 58.
Just for this occasion, access to the gardens is permitted from 7 p.m., where audience members can take part in an aperitif to taste the renowned wine of the Principe Corsini Vineyards. The idea, inspired by the well-established Anglo-Saxon model of "Shakespeare in the Park", has been brought to Florence by F.E.S.T.A., a cultural association and Florence's only bilingual theatre company, which brings the international and Florentine communities together through theatre.
About the cast:Romeo, played by Charlie Jones, and Juliet, played by Brigette Lundy Paine, are both 17 years old and are just two of the cast of actors that have come from the United States, the U.K. and Italy to perform in this spectacular show!
Romeo and Juliet at the Corsini Gardens will be performed from July 13 to July 21 (there is no show on Monday July 16).
