History and culture of American native from GILCRASE MUSEUM is like a diamond giving light in a period so unknown, especially because compromise from cinema and white conquerers stories, is inserted in 5° century from death AMERIGO VESPUCCI ( in Siviglia 1512) and in the program:
"Firenze 2012 un anno ad arte" thanks to Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and Firenze Musei supported by Enel e Trenitalia.

All events are also 50 years from death of Thomas Gilcrease the creator of GILCREASE MUSEUM where  there are collections of western art and native american material with more than 12,000 works of fine art; 300,000 ethnographic and archaeological items and 100,000 rare books and manuscripts today  this unique museum is of comunity Tulsa OKLAHOMA STATE organized with the university of Tulsa.

 

Thomas Gilcrease was a man restricted by American law to leave his native city to go out lawed territory, where he found petrol, and through this he became very wealthy, with this he rejuvinated Indian land. Showing in life one can never know what to expect, hope can be found in every situation.

The freindship between Osvaldo Giovannelli and Laura johnson link the two reality like once  italian explorers: Colombo and  Amerigo  open new possibilities!
